What You Need
To use Kontakted, you will need the following:
A Mac or PC computer with Kontakted installed. You can download Kontakted from Abyssmultimedia for $20. There are different versions of Kontakted for different operating systems, so make sure you get the one that matches your system.
A full version of Kontakt 5.6 or lower. Kontakted does not work with Kontakt 6 or higher, as they do not have the ability to add user libraries. However, you can still use your libraries in Kontakt 6 or higher after creating them with Kontakted.
A folder with your instrument files (NKI, NKR, NKC) and samples (WAV, AIFF, etc.). These are the files that make up your library. You can create them yourself using Kontakt's editor, or use existing instruments from other sources.
An image file (JPG, PNG, etc.) that you want to use as your library's wallpaper. This is the image that will appear on the background of your library in Kontakt's browser. You can use any image you like, as long as it has a resolution of 760 x 340 pixels or higher.
How to Use Kontakted
Once you have everything ready, you can start using Kontakted to create your library. Here are the steps:
Launch Kontakted and click on the \"New\" button to create a new project.
Drag and drop your image file into the \"Wallpaper\" section of Kontakted. You will see a preview of your image on the right side of the window.
